Be A Vendor!

On Saturday, August 17th, 2024, from 1-7pm our fourth annual outdoor “Oz Land Festival” will be held on South Street in downtown Peekskill, NY.

The founder of the festival, Scarlett Antonia, embraces the themes and tropes of the great American myth, “The Wizard of Oz,” on this day with a celebration of diversity, friendship, following your dreams, and finding your true “home.”

The maker of “The Wizard of Oz,” L. Frank Baum, attended military academy in Peekskill; thus Antonia’s affinity for the strong connection with the City of Peekskill and “The Wizard of Oz.” It has even been said that the infamous “Yellow Brick Road,” was inspired by yellow bricks found right here in Peekskill.

You don’t need to be selling Wizard of Oz products in order to be a vendor. All proceeds collected for the festival go to Antonia’s non-profit organization, Antonia Arts, Inc.

Please bring your own 10×10 tent, weights, table and chair, etc. You are responsible for setting up your own vendor space. We do not provide electricity but you may bring your own generator. Load-in and setup will start at 12pm. Load out is at 7pm and we expect everyone to stay for the full day. You are responsible for leaving with everything you came in with, in addition to any trash and/or debris.

Neither the founder, staff, or volunteers of the Oz Land Festival are to be held liable for any personal injury and/or lost or damaged goods during the Oz Land Festival.

We encourage each vendor either dress in a Wizard of Oz costume, (even if it’s just a witch’s hat,) and/or include a nod to the Wizard of Oz to display at their booth. Some ways this can be done are by:

  • writing “lollipop guild” on a jar of lollipops
  • putting out a tray of cookies and adding a little sign that says, “for the munchkins”
  • a drawing of a heart for the Tin Man,
  • a stuffed animal like a lion or a monkey with wings on it
  • a few patches or some hay from the scarecrow’s clothes
